The Baby Countdown Begins!

Welp, here we are about to be parents. I never thought that this day would come, but we're finally here. It seems like it has taken us a thousand years to get to this point.

We are trying to get everything as ready as we can, but things never really are ready, are they? There is always more that can be done.

We are in our 37th week of pregnancy and beginning to dilate. Baby Ryder is in position to make his debut and is pushing down hard. We have been having random contractions most days, and they seem to be doing their job in preparing us for birth.

We have gained a lot of weight this week, which I have no doubt that it went to him. My belly looks and feels a million times bigger now than it did a week ago. Everyone thinks that he is pretty small, but I think that he is bigger than projected. He is stuffed inside of me, after all, and I think that makes me a pretty good authority on the topic.

Hopefully we don't have much waiting left ahead of us. I think Ryder is ready to vacate the premises. If he has his dad's work ethic, than he will be out before we know it!
